Though a Keto Nutrition lifestyle includes many of the same foods as Paleo, it focuses on a lower carb, higher fat approach in which an individual utilizes more tailored macros (Proteins, Carbs, & Fat), in order to enter a metabolic, fat-as-fuel burning state, known as Ketosis. โฃโฃ

For this reason, starchy vegetables & high carb fruits are not on the Keto menu!๐โฃโฃ

Though both lifestyles have been shown to reduce chronic conditions & extra lbsโฆ Each person may differ, regarding which lifestyle would most benefit them, based on their current health & metabolic state.

From a Paleo perspective, these foods are not compliant because they may lead to high levels of inflammation or gastrointestinal distress in the body, & many are either unnatural or highly processed. โฃโฃ
